Pallet Flow Racking
Pallet flow racking (also called gravity flow racking) is a high-density, FIFO storage system where pallets load from the infeed end and automatically index forward on roller lanes to the pick face. This delivers fast access to every SKU while maximizing cube utilization and reducing aisle count. Engineered lanes use speed controllers, pallet separators and end stops to regulate pallet movement and maintain safe spacing for consistent throughput. Upright frames and support structures are sized for your pallet dimensions, load range and operating environment. Pallet flow racking is ideal for date-sensitive products and batch inventory in food & beverage, cold storage, FMCG distribution, and high-turnover warehouses that need rapid replenishment with controlled pallet handling.
Why Choose Pallet Flow Racking?
FIFO Inventory Rotation
Pallets automatically index to the pick face, enabling true first-in, first-out storage for high-turn and date-sensitive SKUs.
High-Density Storage
Deep lanes maximize cube utilization and reduce aisle runs while keeping the pick face highly productive.
Controlled Flow Components
Roller lanes, speed controllers and pallet stops ensure smooth, safe movement from infeed to pick face.
Engineered for Your Load
Lane width, depth and per-pallet capacity are designed for your pallet size, weight range and throughput requirements.
| Option | Lane Width | Lane Depth | Frame Height | Per Pallet Capacity | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2-Deep | 42–48" | 2 pallets | Up to 12 m | Up to 1,500 kg | Standard FIFO flow |
| 4-Deep | 42–48" | 4 pallets | Up to 12 m | Up to 1,500 kg | For higher throughput lanes |
| 6-Deep | 42–48" | 6 pallets | Up to 12 m | Up to 1,500 kg | Maximum cube utilization |
| 8-Deep | 42–48" | 8 pallets | Up to 12 m | Up to 1,500 kg | Longest lane depth option |

How Pallet Flow Racking Works
1.
Load Pallets at Infeed
Pallets are loaded at the entry lane and positioned on roller rails for gravity flow.
2.
Controlled Gravity Flow
Roller lanes, speed controllers and pallet separators regulate flow and spacing.
3.
Pick Pallets at Outfeed
Pallets discharge to the pick face, enabling first-in, first-out pallet retrieval.
4.
Replenish & Repeat
Refill the lane from the infeed side to keep pallets flowing and throughput high.
