Welcome to Orient Tech W.L.L. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and the products and services we provide, including the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial storage and racking systems within the State of Qatar and internationally where applicable.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our website or services.

 

1. Company Services

We provide professional services including but not limited to:

Warehouse Storage Solutions
Pallet Racking Systems
Selective Racking
Drive-In & Drive-Through Racking
Cantilever Racking
Mezzanine Floor Systems
Industrial Shelving
Warehouse Design & Consultancy
Manufacturing & Fabrication
Supply & Delivery
Installation & Commissioning
Inspection & Maintenance
Warehouse Relocation Services

All services are subject to availability and acceptance by the Company.

 

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for the period stated in the quotation document unless otherwise specified.
Prices may change due to fluctuations in material costs, import duties, exchange rates, transportation costs, or government regulations.
A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until accepted by both parties.
 

3. Orders and Contract Acceptance

An order becomes binding only after:

Written acceptance by the Company;
Issuance of a Sales Order or Contract; and
Receipt of any required advance payment.

The Company reserves the right to reject any order at its sole discretion.

 

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

Provide accurate project information.
Ensure unrestricted site access during agreed working hours.
Obtain all necessary approvals and permits unless otherwise agreed.
Provide a safe working environment.
Inform the Company of any known hazards or site restrictions.
Ensure warehouse flooring and structures meet engineering requirements.

Any delays caused by the customer may result in revised delivery schedules and additional charges.

 

5. Design and Engineering

All engineering drawings, calculations, layouts, and technical recommendations are prepared based on the information provided by the customer.

The Company shall not be liable for:

Incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
Changes made after design approval.
Structural deficiencies of the building.
Improper use of installed systems.
 

6. Manufacturing

Manufacturing begins only after:

Final design approval;
Confirmation of specifications; and
Receipt of agreed advance payment.

Minor dimensional or cosmetic variations that do not affect functionality or safety shall not constitute defects.

 

7. Delivery

Delivery dates are estimated and may vary due to circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control, including:

Shipping delays
Customs clearance
Material shortages
Government restrictions
Force majeure events

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery or as otherwise agreed in writing.

 

8. Installation Services

Installation shall be performed according to applicable engineering standards and project specifications.

The customer shall ensure:

Safe and unobstructed access to the site.
Availability of utilities where required.
Completion of civil works prior to installation.

Additional work outside the agreed scope may be subject to separate charges.

 

9. Inspection and Maintenance

Routine inspections and maintenance are recommended to ensure continued safe operation of racking systems.

The Company shall not be responsible for damage arising from:

Lack of maintenance;
Vehicle impacts;
Overloading;
Unauthorized modifications;
Improper operation.
 

10. Product Warranty

Unless otherwise specified in writing:

Products are warranted against manufacturing defects for the period stated in the applicable warranty.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship only.
The warranty does not cover:
o Normal wear and tear;
o Improper installation by third parties;
o Misuse or abuse;
o Accidental damage;
o Corrosion caused by environmental conditions;
o Unauthorized repairs or alterations.

Warranty claims must be submitted promptly with supporting documentation.

 

11. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed:

Payments shall be made according to the agreed payment schedule.
Late payments may incur applicable service charges or interest as permitted by law.
The Company reserves the right to suspend work or deliveries until overdue amounts are settled.

Ownership of goods remains with the Company until full payment has been received.

 

12. Returns and Cancellations

Custom-manufactured products cannot be returned unless defective.

Orders may not be cancelled after manufacturing has commenced without the Company’s written consent. Cancellation charges may apply to cover work performed and materials procured.

 

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability arising from any claim shall not exceed the total value of the relevant contract.

The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including:

Loss of profits
Business interruption
Loss of production
Loss of inventory
Loss of contracts
Loss of goodwill
 

14. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, calculations, specifications, catalogs, photographs, website content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property remain the exclusive property of the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing.

No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written permission.

 

15. Website Use

Users agree not to:

Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
Upload malicious software.
Use the website for unlawful purposes.
Interfere with website functionality.
Copy website content without permission.

The Company may suspend or terminate website access for violations of these Terms.

 

16. Privacy

Personal information collected through our website or during business transactions is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws of the State of Qatar.

 

17. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters
Fire
Flood
War
Terrorism
Labor disputes
Government actions
Pandemics
Supply chain disruptions
Utility failures

Performance obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.

 

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the State of Qatar, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

 

19. Changes to These Terms

The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on our website with the revised Effective Date. Continued use of our website or services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
